Zagar will be the support band of the Jimi Tenor Big Band (FIN):
Jimi Tenor is the wird figure of the Finish electronic music scene. He says his greatest talent is faking, making people believe he has a talent even if he doesn't. Well, whatever he says, he makes great music, cleverly combining elements from jazz, funk, soul and techno into an enjoyable experience.

At The Philharmonium of Cologne Dj Bootsie's Live Act represented Hungary among the connecting Eastern European countries.

The Zagar Band plays at the EU Connection Celebrity Party in Zöld Pardon, Budapest on the 1st of May. Go West!

Balázs Zságer and Andor Kovács performed in Literatúra program of mtv1. The guest was György Somlyó writer, poet, inventor of the Day of Poetry in Hungary. Thanks to the two musicians the program was filled with electronic improvisations.

Zagar: Local Broadcast selected by the magazine WAN2 on their chart of the 50 all time's best Hungarian albums. The album was rated 25th out of 50. The Top of the list stands Yonderboi's Shallow and Profound. You can read the entire list in the march issue of Wan2.

The film called Eastern Sugar directed by Ferenc Török has been finished. The original soundtrack was written by Zagar featuring Andor Kovács, DJ Bootsie, Edina Kutzora and Sena. The mainscore vocal is György Ligeti (Leon). At the Hungarian Filmfestival the creation won the audience prize and the best male epizode actor prize (Ervin Nagy). The Soundtrack Album will be released in 2004 September under the Ugar label. The Album will probably also contain exclusive tracks wich are left out from the film.

NBC televison has recently bought music for its new TV series Las Vegas from UGAR Records. The groups concerned at this Hungarian affiliate of UCMG are Trevira Modern (a formation of Yonderboi and Zságer Balázs from Zagar) with two tracks, DJ Bootsie with one of his own tracks and Amorf Ördögök with a remix.

Zságer Balázs was the organizer contemporary electronic music festival East of Eden 2003.The performers were the representatives of the Hungarian contemporary music scene:Anorganik, Cas!o Samples, Éhező Apácák, Ion-Zum, Skeg, Zagar.

Bossa Astoria track released on the Italian La Douce compilation. Published by IRMA Records.

At the same time of editing the film called Szezon
(Eastern Sugar - directed by Feri Török) beginning the recordings of the soundtrack. Zságer and Edina Kutzora also appear play in the film likeas bar musicians with a down-tempo cover version of an old Hungarian evergreen called "Hol van az a nyár.."

October 24th will be the first Zagar gig in Budapest after the Sziget Festival with the Austrian Trio Exclusive at Kultiplex.
